I presume our "on strike"/holidaying MP's will be returning their wages for the time they will not be working. Everyone else who goes on strike has to go without pay
I've noticed that since Stephen Harper came to power, the CBC has stopped producing "Royal Canadian Air Farce" and "This hour has 22 minutes." Could it be that the social critique, which underlies these political satire programs, hits a little close to home, for Harper and his party. Instead our Canadian content programming consists of paying American companies for "Wheel of fortune" and "Jeopardy." Now that's true hard hitting political critique
