Oshawa - a very tight race between the NDP and the Conservatives

Accidental Deliberations: On bookends

The current polls show the Conservatives with a very slim lead over the NDP.

Sounds about right for Oshawa. But the coverage indicated that Layton's appearance took place in Jim Flaherty's riding, which I took to mean Whitby-Oshawa.

Ah, right you are, Jurist. Oshawa is the tight NDP/Conservative race, but for Whitby-Oshawa, Flaherty's riding, the polls show him well out in front, followed by a Liberal, then the NDP in 3rd.

Still, it would be nice if the NDP take the Oshawa riding, right next door to Whitby-Oshawa.

So ... are there any Liberals in the riding willing to stop listening to the rhetoric from Dion & Rae & Cherniak, etc etc ... who will cast their vote for the New Democrat to reduce Harper's caucus by 1?

I doubt it.
