In Ontario, I think the more important ridings are Welland and Oshawa. Guelph has a Liberal incumbant, and the NDP only scored 16% last time (in fourth place behind the Greens). In my view the smarter strategic vote is for Liberals there.

Buckets - the latest polls show the Liberals and NDP neck and neck in Guelph, followed very closely by the Conservatives. The Greens also have a lot of support and are in a respectable 4th place.
With the NDP trending up daily in the polls, I would recommend NDP in Guelph.

Welland: The NDP are well in the lead in the polls here and should win this riding easily.

Oshawa: The Conservatives are a close 2nd, but the NDP lead here has been growing daily in the polls. I think the NDP will win here too.

I'm not a great believer in riding level polls and would be surprised if the NDP could make up that much ground in Guelph.

I hope you're right about Welland and Oshawa.
